  • 1/2 cup Urad dal Uzhunnu parippu
  • 1 1/2 cup Rice flour
  • 1/2 cup Rice
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 5 nos Shallots chopped
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 no Tomato sliced
  • 1 cup Coconut grated
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing tomato chutney dosa, first soak urad dal in water for 4 hours. Add rice flour and rice. Grind well.
  • Keep the batter for 8 hours.
  • Take a pan and heat oil. Saute shallots, tomato, chilly powder and salt. Fry it.
  • Add coconut and mix well.
  • Grind this to chutney.
  • Make dosa out of batter. Pour ghee in sides.
  • Pour tomato chutney inside dosa, roll and serve hot.
