Ingredients: 15 nos Pearl onions (sliced, Kunjulli); 6 nos Garlic pods (sliced); 2 nos Green chillies; 2 nos Tomato; 1/4 cup Grated coconut; 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder; 1/4 tsp Chilly powder; 1/4 tsp Coriander powder; Tamarind (size of small lemon, Puli); 1 tsp Coconut oil; 1/4 Cumin seeds (Jeerakam); 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds (Uluva); 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds; Curry leaves (A few)

Ingredients

15 nos Pearl onions sliced, Kunjulli
6 nos Garlic pods sliced
2 nos Green chillies
2 nos Tomato
1/4 cup Grated coconut
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Chilly powder
1/4 tsp Coriander powder
Tamarind size of small lemon, Puli

For seasoning:

1 tsp Coconut oil
1/4 Cumin seeds Jeerakam
1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds Uluva
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
Curry leaves A few

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
Splutter mustard seeds.
Add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.
Add onions, green chillies and garlic.
Fry well, until golden brown.
Add tomato and fry, till the tomato blends well.
Add tamarind water and allow it to boil.
When it starts to boil, add turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder.
When all the ingredients get cooked well and start emiting a nice aroma, add the coconut milk.
Allow it to boil for a few more mins.

ma hubby loves onion very much and he loved it..
i added a little bit of vinegar because the curry wasnt having pulippu eventhou i put puli, but it tasted even more good.
