  • For preparing venpongal v brahmin special, first boil raw rice and cheruparuppu together in cooker by adding 3 cups of water.
  • Fry mustard seeds and chana dhal in coconut oil.
  • Add red chilly and fry for some more time.
  • Add 3rd step to the 1st step.
  • Add curry leaves. Pour this to boiled rice.
  • Fry pepper and cumin powder in ghee and add to the 1st step.
  • Fry cashew nut and dry grapes in ghee and add to the mixture.
  • Add salt and mix well.
