Wayanad Special Pothum Kaal | Beef Bone Marrow Recipe

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add sliced onion and saute till soft.
  • When it become soft add ginger garlic paste, green chilly and salt as required. Saute it for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now add all spice powders and saute for 2-3 minutes in medium flame until the raw smell goes off.
  • Finally add washed and cleaned (clean the beef leg in water by adding 1 tbsp vinegar and salt) pothum kaal and curry leaves.
  • Pour 1 &1/2 cup water and mix well. Close the lid and pressure cook it for 5-6 whistles.
  • Delicious Pothum kaal is ready now.
