- wheat rava 1 cup -
- moong dal 1/2 cup(soaked 1/2 hr) -
- ginger chopped 1 sp -
- green chilli chopped 1 sp -
- ghee 2 sp -
- pepper corns 1 sp -
- jeera 3/4 sp -
- Red chilli 2 no. -
- Curry leaves Few -

- fry rava well in ghee
- to it add soaked dal
- to it add fried rava and allow 2 whistle
- in a separate pan temper some pepper corns,jeera,curry leaves and red chilli
- add some cashew and keep aside
- add this to the cooked pongal and serve
