1/2 tsp Coffee powder1/2 piece Palm jaggery (for sweetness instead of sugar, karupatti sarkara)1/2 hand Basil (Thulasi ela)1/4 tsp Black pepper powder1/4 tsp Dry ginger or ginger (chukku podi)1/4 tsp Long pepper (optional, thippali) For preparing chukku kaapi, boil jaggery, basil, pepper powder, dry ginger and thippali in 1 liter water.Once it boils, add coffee powder and allow it to boil for 1 minute. Remove it from the flame.Chukku kaapi is ready. Filter the coffee and serve hot.Note:- 1)You can get thippali in ayurvedic stores.If you add one thippali, add one full jaggery (insted of 1/2) otherwise it will be too spicy. Kerala
