Ingredients
- Coffee powder - 1/2 tsp
- Palm jaggery(for sweetness instead of sugar, karupatti sarkara) - 1/2 piece
- Basil(Thulasi ela) - 1/2 hand
- Black Pepper Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Dry ginger or ginger(chukku podi) - 1/4 tsp
- Long pepper(optional, thippali) - 1/4 tsp

Instructions
- For preparing chukku kaapi, boil jaggery, basil, pepper powder, dry ginger and thippali in 1 liter water.
- Once it boils, add coffee powder and allow it to boil for 1 minute. Remove it from the flame.
- Chukku kaapi is ready. Filter the coffee and serve hot.
- Note:- 1)You can get thippali in ayurvedic stores.
- If you add one thippali, add one full jaggery (insted of 1/2) otherwise it will be too spicy.
