Tasting an Oreo Cake is simply a pure bliss that you will definitely adore. These are amazing cakes with something to cherish. Oreos have been one of my favorite cookies for probably forever. I absolutely love them. Though the Oreo Cake looks complicated, but it’s no more time consuming and complicated. Take your time reading through the instructions and you will be perfectly fine. The cream filling is the best and favorite part. Today I decided to just add them to my cake. There’s plenty of Oreo in every bite, I made sure to have 4 layers of cake instead of two and three. That way there’s three full layers of icing in the middle along with the icing on top. The cake layers are made with the most moist cake you’ll ever have. Try it once and you’ll never make another chocolate cake. You can explore a well detailed recipe here that can be easily prepared at home.

Thalassery, a small commercial town in the North Kerala district of Kannur, is famous for the celebrated Malabar cuisine. Their world famous Thalassery Chicken Dum Biriyani is a culinary treat. This is a special biryani recipe. You will find cooked spicy chicken masala with layered rice, fried onions and whole pot is placed on dum. In traditional “Dum” cooking, the lid is secured to the pan with a dough so that no steam can escape. Hot coal is placed on the lid, and slow cooked with a low flame from below the pan. The soul of Thalassery biriyani lies in the masala. Onions are slow cooked with green chillies, ginger, and garlic. Tomatoes are added to the mix and cooked till they disappear into the mix. Fresh garam masala, turmeric powder and curd is added to it and chicken is slow cooked until soft and juicy. Now we move on to the rice. The dish is traditionally cooked with jeerakashala rice. If you can’t source jeerakashala rice, khaima rice or basmati rice is a decent alternative. Whole spices and rice are fried in ghee and oil, and cooked in boiling water. I have made so many versions of biriyani over the past few years and this one is the best. So let’s go through the detailed recipe of Thalassery Chicken Dum Biriyani.
