  • Crush ginger, garlic and green chilly together.
  • In a pressure cooker, heat some oil and add crushed ginger, garlic and green chilly mixture. Saute for few seconds.
  • Then add sliced onion and saute till soft.
  • Add chopped tomato and saute for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add all masala powders: turmeric, coriander and garam masala. Saute well and add salt as required.
  • Add washed and cleaned beef into it.
  • Add some coriander leaves. Combine well and pressure cook the dish for 7-8 whistles or until done.
  • Meanwhile wash and drain the rice.
  • Now add water(2 1/2 cup) into the cooker, ghee and bring to a boil. Check salt and add more if needed.
  • Once the water is boiling add the rice and pressure cook for one whistle.
  • Delicious Erachi Choru is ready now.
