  • 2 nos Eggs
  • 2 cups White sugar
  • 6 tbsp Butter softened
  • 2 cups Allpurpose flour Maida
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Sweet dried cherries


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar together.
  • Add butter and beat well.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with milk.
  • Fold in the cherries, stir to combine.
  • Scoop batter into prepared muffin pans and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 mins.
  • Allow to cool and place a sliced cherry on the top of each muffin.
