Andhra Style Vegetable Pulav Vegetable pulav - Andhra Style Vegetable Pulav 2 cups Basmati rice1 no Potato (peeled and cut into cubes, medium)1 no Onion (chopped, big)2 - Green chillies1/2 cup Fresh or frozen peas1/2 cup Fresh cauliflowerCoriander leaves (As reqd)1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeerakam)1/2 tsp Mustard seeds1/4 tsp Garam masala powder1 tsp Coriander powder1/2 tsp Turmeric powder1 tsp Red chilly powderSalt (As reqd)2 - Oil Heat oil in a pan.Splutter cumin seeds and mustard seeds.Add chopped onions and green chillies and saute, till they turn golden brown. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and leave it for a sec. Add potatoes and mix well. Cover and cook, until potatoes are partly cooked. Add cauliflower and peas and stir it well with little salt.:- Add salt only for vegetables.Cover and let it cook. When it is cooked, add boiled rice and mix well. Add salt, garam masala and coriander leaves. :- You have already added salt to vegetables, so add very little for the rice.Mix well and cover it for 4 - 5 min before you serve. Andhra
