Ingredients
- Aval : 2 - 3 cup
- Onion : 2 nos -
- Potatoes : 2 nos -
- Carrot : 2 nos -
- Ginger 1 piece -
- Coriander leaves : 1 pinch -
- Green chilli : 2 - 3 nos
- Salt to taste -
- Red chilli powder : 1 tsp (only if necessary to make spicy) -
- Turmeric powder : 1 tspn -
- Grated coconut : ½ cup -

Instructions
- Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt and stir the mix well.
- Allow to cook this mix in low flame for about 5 minutes.
- Add the soaked aval into this mix and stir it well and allow to cook it for about 5 minutes (please do not add water).

- Add the grated coconut with the aval upma and then serve it as break fast or with the evening tea / coffee.
