- Unripe plantains(Vazhakka)(large) - 1 kg
- Coconut oil - 300 g
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Sour Curd - 1/2 glass

Instructions
- Pour sour curd into this water.
- :- The purpose is to remove the plantains' serum.
- Leave this for half an hour.
- Strain the excess water off.
- Heat oil in a wide pan(preferably Urali).
- Bring it to boil.
- Slowly, slice the plantains using a chips slicer directly into this oil.
- Turn over the chips to cook both the sides.
- Once sure that they are crisp, use a strainer to take the chips out and place them on an absorbent paper to drain the excess oil off.
