Ingredients
- Banana pieces - 4 cups
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves(A sprig) -
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Grated chillies - 5 nos
- Oil - 4 tbsp
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Cook the black gram or dal.
- Season it with fried curry leaves, mustard seeds, broken chillies and black gram dal.
- Fry a little of the grated coconut until golden brown and add it to the above mix.
- :- Serve hot.
