Beef Coconut Fry is a tempting Nadan dish with a spicy fragrant flavour of roasted coconut pieces and cubed beef. Slow roasting imparts a brownish crispy hue to the dish. Cubed beef is marinated for an hour with ginger garlic paste, roasted masala powders and other spicy ingredients. Marinated beef is pressure cooked with enough water. In a hot kadai pour enough coconut oil and fry onion, coconut slices and other ingredients. Stir in cooked beef with gravy into the kadai and slow roast the mixture until beef is dry and browned. - Curry leaves(Few) -
- Ginger(garlic paste – 1 tbsp) -
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

- For preparing beef coconut fry, first dry roast the coriander powder and chilli powder in a slow fire. The powder should start to turn dark in colour.
- Marinate the beef with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, roasted powder, meat masala, garam masala, 1 tbsp oil, curry leaves and required salt.
- Keep this refrigerated for 1 hour.4)Pressure cook the beef with 1 glass of water and make it a dry mix.In another kadai, heat 2 tbsp oil. Fry onion, chillies, green chillies, curry leaves and coconut slices.
