- Kadalai paruppu / bengal gram 1 cup -
- jaggery / vellam 1/2 cup -
- cardamom powder 3 tsp -
- Maida : 2 cup -
- Salt : 1 tsp -
- Oil : 3 tsp -

Instructions
- Boil the Bengal gram / kadalai paruppu
- smash the boiled bengal gram, jaggery
- in another bowl add Bengal gram, jaggery and cardamom powder and mix well
- mix well and make small ball
- from maida dough take small ball of maida and roll it as small
- stuff the bengal gram mix and cover it
- roll the maida stuff as small size and the stuff should not come out side
- heat the dosa tawa and boil both side by applying oil
- bengal gram poli / kadalai paruppu opputtu is ready
