Ingredients
- Lady`s finger (chopped into 1/2" pieces)(Vendakka/Bhindi) - 2 cups
- Onion(chopped) - 1 no
- Tomato(chopped) - 1 no
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Green chillies(cut into halves) - 2 nos
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Lime juice - 1/2 tsp
- For Masala Paste: -
- garlic(chopped) - 2 tsp
- Ginger(chopped) - 2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves(chopped) - 2 tsp

Instructions
- Grind together all the ingredients for the masala into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
- Splutter cumin seeds.
- Add onions and green chillies and saute, till they turn light brown.
- Add turmeric powder, the masala paste and saute for 2 mins.
- Add tomatoes and blend well for 2-3 mins.
- Add the cut bhindi, salt and saute well for 2 mins.
- Cook on low flame, till bhindi is done stirring from time to time.
- Switch off the flame.
- Mix in lime juice when its warm.
- :- Serve with rice and curd or chappathis.
