Yoghurt/Curd with crispy Bitter gourd(Pavakka)

  • Cut bittergourd into round slices. Halve the slices and remove the inner skin of gourd, leaving on only the green outer skin.
  • Marinate bitter gourd with chilly powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Fry the bitter gourd and garlic, till it turns dark brown and crispy.
  • Beat yoghurt, till smooth.
  • Add the bitter gourd pieces and mix well.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Garnish with garam masala powder, just before serving.
  • :- Serve slightly chilled.
