  • 4 slices Calf’s liver
  • 700 g Chicory peeled and chopped
  • 100 g Smoked bacon minced
  • 2 springs Parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Pepper powder As reqd
  • Salt As reqd


  • For preparing calf¦s liver with chicory, take a sauce pan, add in 20 grams of butter, lemon juice, chicory, salt, pepper powder and 100ml of water. Cover the pan and allow it to melt over low flame.
  • Fry the minced bacon in a non-stick pan until crispy and golden brown. Keep it aside.
  • Fry the liver in another pan with 15 grams of butter, salt and pepper powder.
  • Arrange the liver in a large dish, surround with chicory, bacon and parsley sprinkled over it.
  • Calf¦s liver with chicory is ready.
