- Capsicum(large) - 4 nos
- Onion(big) - 1 nos
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 3 tsp
- Cumin powder(jeera powder) - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Refined oil - 5-6 tbsp
- Besan flour/Rice flour - 3 tsp
- Salt (As per requirement) -

Instructions
- Chop the onion finely.
- Put a kadai on the stove. Add 5-6 tbsp of refined oil. When the oil is mildly hot, add the mustard seeds. After it splutters, add the cumin seeds.
- When the capsicum changes colour, check if it is half cooked.
- Now add the turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add salt as per your taste.
- Keep stirring the capsicum mixture till it is fully cooked. Add another 1 tbsp oil if required. Now add the cumin powder and mix well. Remember to cook in a low flame so that capsicum does not get burnt.
- This is an excellent side dish with sambhar rice, Rasam rice, curd rice and also chappathi.
