Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Dry red chillies(Kollamulaku) - 16 nos
- Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Ginger - 2 small
- Turmeric powder(A small pinch) -
- Onions(sliced lengthwise) - 3 nos
- Potatoes - 2 nos
- Cashew nuts(powdered) - 1 cup
- Curd - 1 cup
- Dalda(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Boiled Eggs(chopped length-wise) - 2 nos
- Green chillies(chopped length wise) - 5 nos
- Lemon(chopped in circles) - 1 no

Instructions
- Blend well together dry red chillies, garlic, ginger, turmeric powder, 2 tsp of curd and salt, in a mixer grinder.
- Cut chicken into pieces of appx. 1.5 inch length.
- Marinate the chicken pieces in the blended mixture for 1 hour.
- Heat 2 tsp of dalda in a frying pan.
- Add onions and fry, till they turn brown. Keep them aside.
- Fry chopped potaoes in the same pan with remaining dalda (add more if required). Keep the fried potato pieces aside.
- In a separate pan, heat dalda and add the marinated chicken pieces, fried onions, fried potatoes and stir well for 15 minutes.
- By this time, chicken would be half cooked.
- Add powdered cashews and the remaining curd along with 2 cups of water and allow it to boil, till chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with eggs, lemon pieces and green chillies.
