Ingredients
- Chicken - 1/2 kg
- Onion(finely chopped) - 3 nos
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Green chillies - 6 nos
- Ginger Paste - 2 tsp
- Garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Grated Coconut - 1 1/2 cups
- Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Poppy seeds(Khashakhasha) - 1 tsp
- Curd(not sour) - 1/2 cup
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 3 small
- Cloves(Grambu) - 4 nos
- Cardamom(Elakka) - 3 nos
- Coriander leaves - 3 stems
- Tomato - 2 nos
- Oil - 4 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Cut chicken into medium sized pieces and wash well.
- Blend grated coconut, cumin seeds and poppy seeds in a mixer grinder.
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- When fried, add onions and green chillies and stir fry, till onion turns brown.
- Add chicken pieces, coriander powder, chilly powder and salt. Stir well for a little while.
- Add chopped tomatoes and curd along with a cup of water. Allow it to boil.
- When chicken is half-cooked, add the blended coconut mixture, coriander leaves and boil well, till chicken is fully cooked.
