Pre-boiled chick peas cooked with rice and other ingredients in a microwave

  • Soak the rice for 30 minutes and drain. Keep aside.
  • Take onion, garam masala, ghee, cumin seeds, bay leaf, turmeric powder and salt in a microwave safe dish.
  • Cook in microwave for 2 minutes in high mode.
  • Take the pan out form the mIcrowave and add boiled chickpea and soaked rice. Mix well.
  • Pour coconut milk and cook again in high mode for 15 minutes.
  • Chickpea pulav in microwave is ready. Serve hot with raita,papad, pickle etc.
