Chilli Paratha

Spicy Paratha dish with capsicum and chick peas

  • Heat butter in a pan.
  • Add the spices and saute.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste followed by onions and tomatoes.
  • Add chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.
  • When it is done, add the cooked chick peas. Mix thoroughly.
  • Cook the parathas as per the instructions on the package.
  • Tear the parathas into bite size pieces and add this to the masala.
  • Cook, until the paratha and masala get mixed together.
  • Add lime juice and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and cashewnuts fried in ghee.
  • :- Serve hot with onion raitha.
  • Note: To make it more colorful you can add Yellow and Red Bell Peppers.
