  • 120 g Flour
  • 4 nos Eggs
  • 180 g Chocolate bar
  • 150 g Castor Sugar
  • 180 g Butter room temperature
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder optional


  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar till pale and creamy.
  • Add flour slowly and mix.
  • Stir in baking powder, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon powder and mix well.
  • In a bowl, melt butter and chocolate in a microwave for a minute. Stir to combine.
  • Pour melted chocolate into the cake mix and combine well.
  • Pour batter into cake pan.
  • Bake at 180 degrees for half an hour or more till it is baked.
  • Cool the cake. Spread chocolate frosting over the cake. Refrigerate the cake for an hour. Decorate with chocolate and berries of your choice as shown in picture.
