Chole Paratha Yummy curry with Chick peas (Kabuli kadala) 120 gms Chick peas (Kabuli kadala)1 pc Onion (large)1 piece Ginger4 nos Garlic pods2 tbsp Yoghurt2 nos Tomatoes (baby)100 gms Potatoes (boiled)1 tbsp Coriander powderCumin(Jeerakam) powderGaram masala powder30 gm Tamarind juice (Puli)15 gm Jaggery (grated, Sharkkara)1 no Onion (cut into rings)1 no Lime (cut into thin slices)2 - Green chillies (slit)1 tbsp Coriander and mint leavesSalt (As reqd)Chilly powder (As reqd)2 tbsp Oil Soak chick peas overnight. Cook it in a pressure cooker for 10 mins and set aside. Dissolve jaggery in tamarind juice and strain. Leave aside. Grind together onion, ginger and garlic to a fine paste. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan or a kadai.Fry onions in it.Add the ground onion paste followed by the spices, salt and yoghurt and fry, till the gravy thickens. Put it in a serving dish and decorate with onions and lime slices, potatoes, tomatoes, chillies, mint leaves and coriander leaves.:- Serve with bread or paratha. North Indian
