  • Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a pan or a kadai.
  • Add onions and saute, till they turn golden brown.
  • Add cumin seeds and fry for a while.
  • Add chicken, ginger, garlic, salt and green chillies and fry for 1 - 2 mins.
  • Lower the heat and simmer, till the chicken becomes tender.
  • Increase heat and cook, till the water is completely dried up.
  • Add coconut milk and coriander leaves.
  • Bring it to a boil.
  • Fry garlic slices and peanuts in remaining oil for a minute or two and pour into chicken mixture.
  • Cook, till the sauce thickens slightly.
  • :- Serve hot with basmati rice.
