- Sorrel Leaves - 100 g
- Potatoes(chopped) - 130 g
- Button Mushrooms(chopped) - 250 g
- Butter - 25 g
- Hot water - 600 ml
- Fresh cream - 100 g
- Pepper powder(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

- For preparing cream of mushroom soup with sorrel, melt butter in a saucepan, add the sorrel leaves and potatoes. Stir and leave it to fry.
- Add in the mushrooms, salt and pepper powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour hot water and allow it to simmer on low flame for 20 minutes. 4)When cooked, pour the soup into a blender and blend it well.
- Pour the soup back into the saucepan, add in the cream and mix well. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
