Ingredients
- Potato - 4 nos
- Oil - 100 ml
- Asafoetida powder(Kayam) - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 pinch
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Sour Curd - 1 cup
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Coriander leaves(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing dahi vaala aloo, cook potato in cooker and peel it.
- Mash it by hand.
- Saute cumin seeds in oil. Add asafoetida and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt. Add the mashed potato.
- When it boils remove from flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Dahi vaala aloo is ready.
