- Fenugreek leaves(Uluva ela) - 1 cup
- Toor dal(Tuvara parippu) - 1/2 cup
- Tomato(pureed or finely chopped, small) - 1 no
- Green chillies(slit) - 2 nos
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion(finely chopped) - 1 no
- Green chilly(slit) - 1 no
- Garlic clove(chopped) - 3 nos
- Red chilly flakes - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds(Few) -
- Fenugreek seeds(Uluva) - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1/2 tbsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon - 3 nos
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, red chilly flakes, fenugreek seeds and chopped onion. Fry well till onion turns golden in color.
- Stir in chopped fenugreek leaves and tomatoes. Toss well and cook in medium flame for 10 minutes.
- Dal with fenugreek leaves, a yummy as well as nutritious recipe, is ready. Serve hot with rice/chappathis.
