Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Oil - 100 ml
- Lemon - 1 no
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
- Mustard seeds - 1 spoon
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 spoon
- Fennel seeds(Perinjeerakam) - 1 spoon
- Small onions(Kunjulli) - 1/4 kg
- Tomato - 1 no
- Cardomom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Black peppercorns - 1 spoon
- Coriander leaves(A few) -
- Ginger Paste - 1 spoon
- Garlic paste - 1 1/2 spoon
- Chilly powder - 3 spoon
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- Take chicken in a vessel and squeeze lime over it.
- Add 1/2 spoon of turmeric to it. Mix it well. Keep aside the chicken for 1/2 hour.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Make the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper seeds and coriander leaves into a paste and add it to the pan. Stir it well.
- Add tomato pieces.
- Finally add chicken to it.
- Add salt to it.
- Close the pan with a lid.
- Keep it for 1/2 hour on low flame.
- :- Make sure that there should not be any water in the mixture. It should be dry. Dry chicken masala is ready.
