Ingredients
- Cooked rice - 2 1/2 cups
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/8 th
- Green chillies(finely chop or grind to paste)) - 2 nos
- Red chilly - 1
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves(finely chopped) - 1 tbsp
- Peanuts(optional) - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
- Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 1 tsp
- Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
- ghee roasted cashews(for garnishing)) - 1 or

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Season with mustard seeds, Bengal gram, black gram, cumin seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves ,cashews and peanuts(optional).
- Add the finely grated ginger and green chillies and saute for 1/2 minute.
- :- Serve hot.
- note: ------- -This can be prepared as naivedyam for pujas.
