Maida flour mixed with egg yolks, egg whites, lemon juice, sugar, other ingredients and baked in an oven

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 1/2 cup Sugar powdered
  • 3 nos Eggs seperated
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon rind grated
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice


  • For preparing easy sponge cake, first separate egg whites and yolk.
  • Beat the egg yolks until thick and stir in sugar slowly. Add lemon rind, lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
  • Now stir in the sieved flour and stiffly beaten egg whites.
  • Pour the cake mixture into a cake dish and cook at 325ª for 15 minutes.
  • Easy sponge cake, a yummy as well as delicious cake, is ready.
