Egg Omlet

A healthy and protein rich breakfast especially for school going kids. It will be a fulfilled breakfast.

  • 5 Nos Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Shallots or Onion
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 2 tsp Chopped Green Chilli Chopped Green Chilli can be replaced with about ½ tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 3 tsp Coconut/refined Oil


  • Take the mix of Chopped Shallots/Onion, Ginger, Green Chilli/Red Chilli Powder and Salt in a Vessel/Bow
  • Crack the Eggs and add the contents into this mix
  • Beat the mix with a tea-spoon for about five minutes (if necessary add about ½ tspn Turmeric powder also)
  • Heat the frying pan/Dosakkal and apply some oil on it
  • Then apply a part of the contents of egg, mixed with Shallots/Onion, Chilli and Ginger
  • Spread the mix in the Frying pan/Dosakkal as shown in picture and allow to cook it properly.
  • After 2 – 3 minutes, turn the Omelet into other side and allow to cook it for about two minutes and then change it into the serving plate
  • Egg Omelet is ready and it can be served with Bread or as a side dish for lunch/dinner etc.
