  • Heat oil in kadai, sautT onion till light brown in color.
  • Add garam masala, red chilly powder, green chilly, curry leaves, coriander leaves, turmeric powder and required salt. Fry well.
  • Now add mashed potato and yolk and combine well. Allow to cool.
  • Take the half piece of egg and fill the hollow space with potato masala.
  • Take a bread slice, dip in water and place the egg inside. Squeeze out excess water and make a covering. Repeat this with remaining egg pieces.
  • Make a batter(not so thick) by adding water into the maida flour.
  • Dip the egg in flour batter.
  • Deep fry the coated eggs in hot oil till golden brown and crispy.
  • An easy and tasty evening time snack recipe, for kids as well as elders, is ready.
  • Serve potato coated egg hot with green chutney or sauce.
