- Ethakka tholi/plantain peel(from 4 raw plantains) -
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Green chilly - 2
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp
- Salt(as required) -

- Peel the bananas.
- Chop them very finely.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed in it.add chopped plantain peel,turmeric powder,salt and curry leaves with little water.cook it for 5 minutes in low flame.
- Grind coconut with green chilly for 2 sec. And mix it with the upperi.
- Cook it again for 2 minutes and remove from the flame.
- Serve it with steamed rice.
