- Fenugreek leaves(finely chopped, Uluva ela) - 1 cup
- Soya chunks(soaked, drained) - 1/4 cup
- Shallots(chopped, kunjulli) - 5 nos
- Green chillies(chopped) - 2 nos
- Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder(A pinch) -
- Cumin seeds(A pinch) -
- Mustard seeds(A pinch) -
- Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
- Urad dal(A pinch, Uzhunnu parippu) -
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
- For preparing fenugreek with soya, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add cumin seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
- Add green chillies, shallots and chopped fenugreek leaves. Stir on low heat and add soya chunks. Mix well and cook covered.
- Sprinkle red chilly powder, turmeric powder and required salt.
- Remove from fire and add lemon juice.
- Fenugreek with soya, a tasty and healthy side dish for steamed rice, is ready.
