Fiery Chicken Strips

Boneless chicken is marinated, dipped in a batter and fried till crispy

For coating:

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour Maida
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 cup Cornflakes slightly crushed by hand
  • Salt As reqd
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • Oil As reqd


  • For preparing fiery chicken stripes, first marinate the chicken strips in a mixture of vinegar, salt, pepper, chilly powder and garam masala for 1/2 an hour.
  • Then make a batter out of maida, corn flour, buttermilk, salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil for frying.
  • First dip each strip in the maida mixture and then in the dry cornflakes.
  • Repeat with all the strips.
  • Once the oil has heated, fry the strips till golden brown.
  • Fiery chicken stripes are ready. Serve hot. It is a superb snack.
