- Tomato - 1
- garlic - 6 pods
- Chilli powder - 1 TS
- Ginger(inch) -
- Coriander powder - 1 ½
- Turmeric powder - ½ TS
- Garam masala(pinch) -
- Oil as needed -
- Salt as needed -

Instructions
- Wash and clean the bindi and cut lengthwise and keep it aside
- Remove from flame when the bindi is cooked completely.
- Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt(add salt that’s required only for the masala since bindi is fried by adding salt)
- Now add the fried bindi to this masala
- Fry until the masala coats with the bindi
- Serve with chapathi or curd rice.
Recipe Notes
Variation: For those who do not prefer sweet taste can skip adding the tomatoes.
