300 g Gherkins (chopped, Kovakka)2 nos Green chillies (slit)1 no Onion (chopped finely)4 tbsp Coconut (grated)1 tsp Mustard seedsCurry leaves (A few)1/2 tsp Turmeric powder1 tbsp Oil1/2 cup WaterSalt (As reqd) For preparing gherkins/ivy gourd foogath, heat oil in a deep frying pan.Splutter mustard seeds.Then add curry leaves, gherkins, onion, green chilies, turmeric powder, grated coconut, salt and water.
