- Gram flour - 1 cup
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Sugar syrup - 500 ml
- Dalda - 2 tsp
- Baking powder - 1 pinch
- Water(as required) -

- For preparing the delicious sweet dish, first put gram flour in a mixing bowl, add turmeric powder, butter, dalda, baking powder and water. The consistency of the batter should be thick and not watery. If it becomes watery jalebi will not come out well. You wont get the funnel shapes.
- When done, cover the jalebi batter and place it in a warm place overnight, till it is fermented.
- Enjoy these crisp, sweet as a wonderful dessert or a sweet option for your guests. You will find the jalebis dissapear altogether. Kids love the sweet and you will discover that no joyous occasion is ever complete without jalebi.
