  • Idli(previously steamed and cooled, and diced into bite sized pieces) - 4 -
  • Green chilly - 1/2
  • Curry leaves - 4 -
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry masala powder or Red chilly powder(either one is ok) - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato(big) - 1 no
  • Ginger(garlic paste - 1/2 tsp) -
  • Onion(finely sliced, medium) - 1 no
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt(As reqd) -

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a kadai.
  2. Splutter mustard seeds.
  3. Add the onions and saute till light brown.
  4. Add the ginger-garlic paste, green chilly, salt, curry leaves, turmeric powder and curry masala powder and saute well for 2 - 3 mins.
  5. Once done, add the tomatoes.
  6. Stir well until it is cooked.
  7. Add diced idlis and mix well.
  8. Cook for 5 mins and finally add salt.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  10. :- Serve hot with a cup pf tea...
