- Onion(medium sized) - 2
- Red chili - 2
- Curry leaves(little) -
- Toor daal - 2 ts
- Mustard - 2 ts
- Oil to fry -

Instructions
- Take idly in a vessel
- Crush the idlies to get loose consistency and keep it aside
- Chop the onions and cut the chillies into two
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- When the oil is heated add mustard and wait till it spurts
- Toor dhal is added now and fried till the color changes to golden brown
- To this add onions, chillies, curry leaves and sautT till the color of the onion changes. Add salt.
- Finally add the idly mixture and toss for 5 minutes
- Serve hot with sugar or idly side dishes or sauce
