Imli Rice With Onion Raita Tamarind rice with onion raitha For making rice:-2 cups Rice50 gm Tamarind (Puli)1 tsp Bengal gram (Kadalaparippu)1 tsp Black gram (Uzhunnuparippu)1 tbsp OilSalt (As reqd)1½ cups WaterFor making Onion Raitha:½ kg Curd1 tsp Salt2 nos Onion (finely chopped)1 no Green chilly (finely chopped)1" piece Ginger (finely chopped)Coriander leaves (finely chopped)1 tsp Oil¼ tsp Mustard Seeds (Small) For making rice: 1)Half boil rice.Soak tamarind in water for 30 minutes. Mash it and strain it through a strainer.
