- Jackfruit seeds(peeled and sliced) - 10 nos
- Broad beans(sliced, Amarakka) - 100 g
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut(grated) - 1/4 cup
- garlic(chopped) - 4 cloves
- Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Split Black gram(Uzhunnu parippu) - 1/2 tsp
- Dry red chillies - 3 nos
- Shallots(chopped, Kunjulli) - 2 nos
- Curry leaves - 3 springs
- Oil(As reqd) -
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Water - 1/2 cup

Instructions
- For preparing jackfruit seeds amarakka thoran, first cook together jackfruit seeds and broad beans adding turmeric powder, chilly powder, required salt and some water.
- Grind grated coconut, garlic, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Pour this paste to the above cooked ingredients and heat in low flame for 3 minutes with a closed lid.
- Splutter mustard seeds, black gram, dry red chillies, shallots and curry leaves. Add this to the cooked ingredients.
- Jackfruit seeds amarakka thoran is ready. Serve hot.
