- Roasted Gram powder 1 cup -
- Red Chilli Powder : 1/2 tsp -
- Salt to taste -
- Maida : 1 tsp -
- Corn flour : 1 tsp -
- Rice flour : 1 tsp -
- cumin seed 1 tsp -
- Turmeric powder : 1/4 tsp -
- Oil to fry -
- Curry leaves 1 bunch -

Instructions
- in a bowl add roasted gram powder, salt, red chilli powder, maida, corn flour, cumin seed and water and mix well
- add turmeric powder and rice flour and mix well
- make as a fine batter
- heat the oil in a pan, add the batter through spatula and fry it
- add curry leaves and fry it
- kara boondi is ready to serve
