- Raw banana - 3
- Dal - 1/2 cup
- Bird eye chilly - 5
- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves(few) -
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Water(as required) -
- Salt(as required) -

- For preparing Kaya Parippu Curry, first peel and cube raw banana. Clean and wash Tur dal.
- Add raw banana, dal, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker.
- Pressure cook it with 2 cups of water for 15 minutes.
- Lightly mash the cooked banana and dal.
- Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, toss little curry leaves and mix it with the curry.
- Kaya parippu curry is ready to serve.
