Instructions
  1. For preparing Kaya Parippu Curry, first peel and cube raw banana. Clean and wash Tur dal.

  2. Grind coconut with bird eye chilly with little water to make a fine paste.

  3. Add raw banana, dal, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker.

  4. Pressure cook it with 2 cups of water for 15 minutes.

  5. Lightly mash the cooked banana and dal.

  6. Add ground coconut paste to the mashed dal-raw banana mixture and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

  7. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, toss little curry leaves and mix it with the curry.
