- Aikora or Spanish Mackeral or Black Promfret - 6 -
- Onion(large) - 1 no
- Green chillies - 4 nos
- Ginger - 1/2 piece
- Garlic pods - 4 nos
- Pepper - 2 tbsp
- Salt(As reqd) -
- Curry leaves -
- Coconut milk(A 300 gm can) -
- or -
- Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
- Thin coconut milk - 1 cup
- Cinnamon(Karugapatta) - 1 stick
- Cloves(Grambu) - 3 nos

Instructions
- Coat fish in salt and little pepper and shallow fry fish. keep aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
- Fry the onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies, curry leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves and pepper powder.
- Add the fried fish and cook for 1 more minute.
- :- Serve with Ney Chor or bread.
