  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
  • Cashew nuts a handful
  • Turmeric a pinch
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves few
  • 1 no Green chillie
  • 2 nos Red chillie whole
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Urad dal
  • Corriander leaves few


  • Boil rice.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and spread in a thali and cool for 5 minutes.
  • Add mustard seeds, red whole chillie, curry leaves, cashew nuts, urad dal,turmeric powder.
  • Pour the rice, green chillie and salt and mix well.
  • Add lemon juice and corriander leaves.
