Kesaribath Sweet A sweet made with Rava (combination with upma in Karnataka) 2 medium Semolina (Rava/Sooji)1 medium Sugar1 cup Ghee1 no Cardamom (Elakka)Raisins (A few, Onakka munthiri)Cashew nuts (A few)Saffron or Turmeric powder (for colour)1 no BananaorPineapple(3 slices cut into small pieces)1 cup Milk3 cups Water Heat 2 tsp of ghee in a pan or a kadai.Fry rava on a medium flame and keep it aside.Heat 2 tsp of ghee in another pan.Fry cashewnuts and raisins.Add water into this along with a cup of sugar, saffron or turmeric powder and cardamom seeds (can be powdered also).Allow it to boil.Add fried rava and milk and mix well.Boil for some more time, till 90% of liquid is drained.When you are about to take the vessel off from the heat, add banana or pineapple pieces and mix it thoroughly.
